Scientific Working

For learning the methods of scientific working, IWES regularly offers related projects. These can be e. g. project, seminar, Bachelor's or Master's theses. Interdisciplinary projects are offered by IWES as well. By preparing these theses, students learn manifold key competences: Objective-oriented literature research, reading and understanding of scientific papers, structuring of task descriptions into work packages, development of work, time and milestone plans and – last but not least – scientific writing. Depending on the type of thesis and the particular task, the development, implementation and application of scientific methods are also included in the portfolio of gained competences.
