Every two years, Leibniz University Hannover hosts the Hannover Night of Science. On Nov. 08 2025, starting at 5 pm, it will be that time again. At this unforgettable event, scientists from LUH will showcase their research. This year, IWES will be participating with two activities:
- Prof. Andreas Reuter, our institute director, will give an entertaining lecture entitled ‘Fact check: How wind energy helps’ (lecture will be in German). Therein, he dispels common clichés and presents the facts about wind energy. Find more information here.
- With our MicroWind demonstrator, visitors can learn in a playful way how to operate a wind turbine in order to produce as much energy as possible while at the same time not overloading the turbine and respecting nature. Try it out and make it onto our leaderboard. Suitable for children and accessible to all. Find more information here.
